S21 ultra 1X camera out of focus.

My Samsung s21 ultra 1x camera is not focusing properly anymore. When you start the camera in photo mode it won't focus properly on the subject and produces blurred photographs. This doesnt happen in the wide angle or telephoto lenses. I'm a full time professional photographer and the only reason I upgraded from an iPhone to this S21 ultra was the camera. What can be done to have the 1x camera work again as it used? Thanks

That's the main reason I upgraded to the S21 ultra for the camera but now I'm regretting it. I should have gone for the Google pixel.

This problem has featured on here many times @EW101. The only work around is to select 10x (in photo mode) and then drop to 3x and then drop down to the 1x lens which should now be in focus. If this works, then I wish I had better long term news for you, but the only way to resolve this issue is with a replacement camera array. I have an S21 Ultra as a second phone and it has had this problem for a year now. It isn't insured anymore so it will never get fixed sadly. Bear in mind that you have to do the same when recording video to avoid this being out of focus at 1x also. If your device is covered by any form of warranty, I would push to get the work done as soon as possible. Good luck to you.

s21u user for 2 years, I can say it's the worst focus system ever, it's so annoying that flagship model have this problem, and they haven't fixed it.

The only thing that's works for me is shaking the phone everytime, but I can't focus on the fly, I would not recommend anyone to buy this phone if the camera is important aspect, 

Ordered s23u because my screen is broken and cameras microphone is stopped working idk why)

Giving Samsung last chance because the phone amazing if I ignore the horrible focus system.

This issue certainly did not come with the phone out of the box, rather as an update so should be fixed. $2,000 nzd phone that takes blurry pics, very annoying

This is crazy. It started 1 month ago. My 1x camera is out of focus when I am turning on the camera app. This is unacceptable for a phone of this price range !

I have the same issue and Samsung is quoting $249 US to replace the camera module.  I have to smack the phone to get it to focus from 1.0X to 3.0X

The other cameras are fine.
