Hi Guys,

I have an S20 Ultra, Felt like I wasn't getting the most of the phone so just switched providers to one offering 5G, New sim arrived, Popped it

in and nothing but 4G!  Network Mode is 5G/LTE/3G/2G so that is correct, Have been out and about in other areas and not seen 5G on my device once!

Spoke with my carrier and they said all is good, Checked the coverage map and should be seeing it non stop!

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks in advance

@KeithMIrl: You current network mode should connect to the strongest available Mobile Data signal in your current location. Have you restarted your phone since you inserted your new network SIM? If so, try heading to Settings > Connections > SIM card manager > Select the relevant SIM slot, and make sure that 5G/LTE/3G/2G (auto connect) is assign to the Network mode in this location.

It possible that 5G coverage is very weak so it chose 4G instead

I had same problem a couple of years ago, since then my carrier Vodafone UK sort out the 5G signal and now I get it alot more but still times I can't, its just life I guess
