One UI 4 - Battery seems to drain Quick since update ?

Is anyone eles noticing that since the new update the battery life seems to have dropped and runs out quicker?

My s20 5g battery seems to drain a lot quicker since the update to One UI 4.

Hi,
Since installing the new update
Try clearing the phone cache
If you haven't done already

Also check your apps
Are all updated

One UI 4 has battery drain issues I suspect, one UI 4.1 which will be available soon promises to fix the battery drain and performance issues.

Go into your battery usage and see what's draining it. In my case it's mlp. If that's the case try this... Image attached. You need to find both mlp and gallery stories in the system apps and disable those in my view. Since they seem to be linked up. Make sure you disable and force stop where you can. You can change the battery usage to restricted too. See attachments

do you perhaps have any idea when this will become available? I see posts like these that suggest the android 12 update happened way before it was available for me, which was only a few days ago. I can't wait for a patch.
