Email incomplete

For some time now my emails have been foreshortened and not displaying anything which previously have been displayed on the left of the page, making items such as delete etch unavailable. I'm using btinternet and they have told me this is common since recent format changes but have been unable to suggest a remedy!!

I'm very far from IT competent but would appreciate any help from anyone more "savvy" than me.

I'm using Galaxy Tab S9

@Idmcg: Are you using the Samsung Email app to access your btinternet account? If so, please try opening the app > Tap the 3 lines in the top left > Tap the cog in the top right of the pop-up window > Split view, and toggle this option off to see if this helps.
