Hi there,

My Samsung s8 plus fell and the screen got shattered. The screen now has some dead zones while other parts of the screen are fully functional. l had the encryption pin enabled on my phone but now l cannot input the PIN due to the dead zones. l need to recover some files from my S8+ to my S22+ and l am not prepared to repair the S8+ screen just to do that. Please assist.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
