Hi.
Samsung Internet Browser (SIB) has a very nice feature to switch between open tabs by swiping left or right on the address bar. I regularly use this very useful feature in Samsung Internet Browser on my Samsung phones.
But somehow this function does not not work in SIB on my Galaxy Tab S9+. Neither in regular SIB (ver. 23.0.1.1) nor in SIB Beta (ver. 24.0.3.2). Anybody with the same issue?
It's very annoying since I love this very handy feature. I miss it a lot in SIB on my tablet.
Any ideas? Is it a bug? Or has Samsung removed this functionality completely in SIB for tablets?
Best regrads,
Greg

Hi @Robin999
I totally get it. A tablet screen is indeed big enough to feature a separate tab bar (which can be enabled in the Settings).
But from UX point of view it's a bit confusing & a bit weird to differentiate UI functions by different mobile devices. I'm just used to this swiping gesture for switching tabs in SIB on my Samsung phones & it feels weird the function is not featured on Samsung tablets as well. Since many of us are using both devices interchangeably having a different UI function on different devices is confusing & an UX fail IMO.
I still hope Samsung adds the swiping function also to the SIB for tablets in the near future.
Best regards,
Greg
