Samsung maps idea?

Hey guys, I have an idea: Samsung maps.

I honestly think Samsung needs their own maps like apple does, they have everything but Their own maps software. it'd be nice for them to do it and have some nice features involved in it

please let me know what you guys think.

It will take a lot of investment and time to compile
Google Maps would almost certainly be the goto app as it's at a way more advanced level
Wouldn't think there would be any point in Samsung investing the resources needed

Well google might be stepping away from samsung in the future. As someone said, apple has there own, why can't Samsung?

It's not a can't, it's still the why. What's the use case? Do we need a Sony Maps? Huawei Maps? Sometimes, you see what's availably and feel no need to invade a space with little gain for consumers - sometimes it's best to let consumers choose from what's available.

Also apple maps is horrendous and people don't use it for a reason. Google maps all the way 👌

100% agree, no point in Samsung devoting resources to reinventing the wheel. Google maps does a more than adequate job already

Not likely that Samsung will walk away from Google as Android is owned by google
