Had been struggling to find the feature that can filter by person (face), then stumbled across it under + Create within Gallery.

Plus it suggested it will automatically update.

How do you back up photos then?

I love both Google photos and Samsung gallery.

Best of both options.
Also Google one premium gives me access to pixel only edits in the gallery.

Ahaa I went OneDrive and O365 Family Premium account, it's worked well with Samsung Gallery.

Fair enough. I prefer Google One as I also use the pixels now and then so don't have to worry about how many phones I move to or factory reset.
