So, I had the new software update ONE UI 6 (S23 ULTRA) and I noticed that the NAVBAR isn't working properly, and the favourite app max count, I set it up to 7 apps sometimes it goes back to 5 apps on the home screen. anyone face this issue as well?

Yep. Home up doesn't work properly and keeps resetting any changes made to it.

I think there have been many bugs in it after seeing a lot of posts regarding various problems in the new Android 14 software.

It just feels like that Samsung definitely have rushed the Android 14 and released too soon. Just hope that they can get it sorted sooner then later.

Given that there were some 8 beta releases through the process and many users on here complaining about how long it took......

I'm really not sure we can suggest Samsung "rushed" this.

In many cases a wipe partition cache fixes issues. In others we've found it to be settings issues on individual devices.

Wiping the partition cache doesn't work at all, it's all the good lock modules that are not compatible at present. I removed them all and I have no issues not in my S23 ultra. You would think after 9 beta's they would have got it correct first time. I'm ditching Samsung and getting a different brand of phone, next upgrade. Used to love Samsung since my Galaxy S5 years ago, but really dislike their whole attitude when dishing out software updates. I bought my phone, not Samsung so why should I put up with their ineptitude when it comes to making features on my phone become unresponsive just because of a poorly released update, rant over 😉

Every user uses their device differently.

There is also the ongoing debate about how quickly updates are pushed out. Some people say they take too long, others complain if one app isn't quite working properly.

I've heard a few comments about Good Lock. I'm not overly familiar with it myself but have read multiple users saying that there was an update to that the following day after Samsung released the stable version.

Then add the complication of networks adding their own bloatware and running their own testing.

You can hardly blame Samsung if something somewhere isn't quite right given the wide ranging uses of Android.

Oh and Apple isn't any better. They also have multiple users and their software is widely reported to be buggy across the web.

But if you want to change manufacturer, wish you well and see you back in a year or two.

Did I say I was switching to Apple??? No. There are other brands of phones that don't use Good lock, which IS the problem here. And seeing as you are not familiar with good lock, maybe keep your advice to subjects you actually know about in future. I'm not being nasty, but there are so many people on Samsung members that spout a whole load of wrong advice, I'm not saying you are one of those people, but it does get frustrating when everyone is just guessing.
