I bought my samsung note 10 plus 512gb storage l was told, but after a few days of using it, its no longer showing that its 512gb but rather 256gb. what could be the problem?

What makes you think the memory storage has changed?
Could be the box has different phone details to what you have.
Or the seller made a mistake

The memory section will indicate how much you used to how much you have
