Email stopped connecting with hosted Exchange server

Last week my phone stopped getting emails from my exchange server--but it still works on my laptop. I removed the account and am trying to re-add it, but I get the following message, "Couldn't verify account: Check your account and Exchange server information, then try again." I have tried multiple times with no success. I have a contractor IT support person, and he didn't see any problems with the screen shots I sent him.

I really need this to start working.

What can I do?

Have you updated your email app, I had Samsung email update over the weekend from the Google play store and one things it mentioned was to fix the exchange bug which was stopping you to verify the account. Might be worth looking at.
