Signing problem

I've just had my phone repaired. The problem is , is that the motherboard was released and I've basically had to start from square one again like a new phone. I've signed in for my email and had to change my password. But for some reason I keep getting a message saying sign in failed. Its driving me nuts now. It keeps asking for my password . Now nothing is coming through. Why don't the use biometrics, it would make things easier. Any pointers would be helpful.

Might be due to some email providers now requiring you to set up and use an " app password " when you access your email through a mobile email app You then use that password when you set up your email credentials in the app
You should be able to check if this applies to your email in the help section on your email provider's site
