Given the drama I had with my ZFold3 and numerous forum and web content as to the delicate (not robust) nature of the foldables, I thought an update on a longer ownership experience, as I traded in my ZFold3 after Samsung TMT found no fault in the mechanism before my tradein, but did when I traded it in.
Anyway back to the ZFLIP3 used by my wife, so not the most careful users, but plenty of use and 2 years on it is still going strong, only issue been the screen protector, promptly replaced with a Whitestone protector.
The ZFLIP3 even outlasted its Samsung ring case then started to fall apart, replaced with a beauty Aramid cover.
Device is now relegated to a spare.
I would love to know how many folds it has performed?
Anyway well done Samsung, just hope my ZFold4 and ZFLIP5 are as good as the ZFLIP3.
