Repurposing Car cradle charger

I think it's criminal by Samsung and other OEMs in particular Apple, to tweak products that mean accessories don't fit or work.

Anyway her is a great design but totally flawed product from Samsung for the fold and flip.

I fitted it to a front seat rear to allow wireless charging and watching YouTube.

The flaw is the mount is motorised and auto clamps the mobile in place, great until it folds the device if not seated perfectly.

@Obsydian: I understand your frustration, however it is not uncommon for different models in the same range to require bespoke accessories due to differing dimensions/specs. For clarity, is this an official Samsung accessory, or a third party option?

I could be given the cradle is designed for use with a case, the case is designed for the flip phone and the flip even with super durability specifications, would shatter at the thought of concrete 😀

That said I use my fold without a case in the front of the car, the camera gets regularly scratched.
