Hello, looking for some advice. I bought a zflip 5 through 'metrofone' uk in January and haven't had any over the air updates since. Had to force updates through Odin on PC. It now turns out I was sold a non UK device. Its actually form UAE. I am gutted, does this mean no updates? What can I do?

Hi there

As your device is being used in the incorrect region, it won't pick up UK updates.

My advice would be to connect via a VPN through the appropriate country and use SmartSwitch.

Thats strange as I imported a Samsung Note²⁰ from Hong Kong and this was sent updates from the region of source.

Thanks for that, the region difference was suggested by Samsung technical support as the cause. I will try smart switch today and see if it works.
