Never in my life i thought i would ever see the northern lights here in the uk and from essex. It looks so amazing..

Did you use your camera in night mode. I couldn't see it until i pointed the camera at it.

6-9 sec exposure should reveal the colours. A lot of light pollution up here but managed some mediocre shots. Just look like cloud with the naked eye.

That's not bad. May of missed the peak of activity but supposed to be active until Saturday night.
