Square profile photo for WA

Hi happy Samsung Users. I need your advice please. How do I square profile photos to fit profile pic for WA without losing image quality and or paying a fortune on subscription? TIA

You can crop photos in the Gallery app without loosing quality. Crop them to have 1:1 ratio.
