S23 Ultra Message Notification

I should be grateful if somebody could advise me on the following:-

I have a Samsung S23 Ultra and use it with a smart view wallet case.

If I tapped the window in the case I would see an orange dot which indicated unread messages or missed calls.

However, since the latest Android update the orange dot can no longer be seen.

Has this feature been removed?

I have notifications switched on for messages.

Android Version 14

One UI version 6.1

Any information would be gratfully received

Settings>Cover screen> toggle on show notifications.

Still works for me. Do you have the LockStar module installed by any chance? Also ensure you have the appropriate notification categories toggled on for each app you want notifications from.

The coverscreen toggle had been set to off even though I had not altered the setting

It is now working as expected
