After so many disappointment I am planning on getting last year's base Galaxy S23.

Reason for the interest is because of the Snapdragon chipset and size.

Albeit having a really good older chipset, dimensions and battery capacity do we think the S23's battery is that bad?

Is the screen on time and endurance time really not that good?

Please advice.

I really loved the S23 for the short amount of time as a secondary phone. I would love to have it again, I just got used to folds.

Average use should get you a full day, but it's all subjective and will vary depending on usage. Still think it's the best choice out of the others you have considered, and I'd still recommend the slightly larger s23+ if you can find one!

I have S23 as well. Battery life is good. All depends on how you use the phone and your usage pattern. Samsung is still selling the S23 around £700.
