Does S pen work across multiple devices?

I currently have a Galaxy S23 Ultra and I'm wanting to buy a renewed tab s7 plus purely for a bigger ambled screen to edit on, video watching etc but as its renewed I don't actually think that it will come with the s pen. I've seen some advertisement about cross device S pen support but I just wanted to see if anyone else has tried the cross compatability and if it actually works

@H3S3G: The Galaxy Tab S7+ does feature S Pen compatibility, and should come with its own S Pen. It won't be compatible with your Galaxy S23 Ultra S Pen, however it may still allow for basic touch screen interactions.

I'm not sure which devices this works on, but I use my phone's S Pen on my tablet and my tablet's S Pen on my phone.

Make sure the "Allow multiple S Pens" toggle button is set to on.

This was pre set to off, when I received my new phone. I thought it didn't work, but realised it was just set to off in the settings.
