WiF Password sharing via QR code

When I scan a QR code to get the WiFi password from another Samsung device, my phone download the actual image of the QR code instead of connecting to the Network. 

If is me sharing it with someone else it happen the same. 

It used to work before, why is this happening and how can I fix it?

Basically I am scanning the QR code to the wifi password, but my phone download the image of the QR code instead of connecting to the network

Hi, @AndyLuna. Have you toggled the Scan QR codes option on? You can check this by opening the Camera app > Click on the Settings cog (top-left) > Scan QR codes (please ensure this is toggled on).

If it needed to be toggled on, you should now be able to scan QR codes (Wi-Fi passwords and regular QR codes) via your camera.

Thanks Paul, the toggle is on, however, is still not working.
The weird thing is that it works if I scan the QR code from the router app, but not from other phones .......
