Samsung S22 ultra crashing when watching youtube

I've been using my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra for approximately a year with no issues.

However, recently, I've encountered a persistent problem: the device crashes and restarts automatically while I'm watching YouTube videos.

This issue occurs regardless of the video quality, from 4K to 144p, and seems to be exclusive to the YouTube app. All my other applications and the phone's software are updated to their latest versions.

Hey there

When did you last perform a VC Wipe Partition Cache on your device? This is recommended whenever there is an OS System Update and some do so monthly after each Security Patch.

It clears temporary cache files without removing data.

1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer, Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.
You can also Repair apps via the Recovery Menu.

Thank you for your suggestion. I do make a habit of regularly wiping catch. I've just done so again and will monitor to see if this resolves the issue.
