I'm not seeing the full 108 megapixel detail in photos, with and without the detail enhancer.

Remastering is unfortunately reducing the file size, megapixel count and quality.

And without the remaster, the photo at "108 Megapixels" doesn't even look like it.

If Camera & Remaster would go back to the way it was in mid 2023, it would be better, as both the Detail Enchancer and 108 megapixel mode actually worked, photos looked as if it did and weren't low quality with grainy detail.

Editing in any way reduces the resolution of photos. The more Editing, the lower the resolution gets. Same as if you zoom in.
This is with any photo taken with any camera.
Some Editing software even compresses images to make them easier to upload and handle

Low ambient lighting can reduce file sizes as well.

I was able to remaster a year ago, and the quality never decreased, it improved.

Somebody at Currys helped me figure this out, it's the Google AI that ruined remastering.
Since it was better on Android 13.
