Phone is bootlooping since April update... its been 4 days now.

What's left is to factory reset it but I'm afraid that won't work and I'll lose all my data. Any tips or tricks?

Hiya back up all your phones data and you should be ok to facturey reset your phone

Did you try booting into safe mode?

Safe mode doesn't help and I have the same issue. This is a software fault Samsung need to address or if its hardware its an issue their software has caused and they should be recalling phones

I have went to a repair shop eventually as samsung won't touch my phone, the guys had no idea what was wrong with it as it was completely dead but they took it all apart and tested the parts one by one, all of em where working completely fine, but when put all tight won't turn on, soo they had a look at the ICU power chips with they replaced and now it works as brand new.
