Gallery not showing on device

Hi all, so I had to do a factory restore as my phone had to go in for repairs, allis done and the phone is fine, but my pictures that was backed up to Google photos is not showing in the Samsung gallery app, does anyone know how to get them in the Samsung app? Thanks peeps

Pictures backed up in Google photos will only show in Google photos.

They don't show in gallery.

It's both a good thing and bad thing.

You will have to download them if you want them in gallery.

I'd say just leave them in the Google photos and access them there.

Maybe in future try the smartswitch transfer for photos. So you'll have best of both worlds.

When I change phones I usually do that it's just that I had to take my phone in for repairs and they factory reset the phone when they do this

Fair enough .

Also in one ui 6.1 under > device care > maintenance mode they have a 30 day temporary cloud backup option available now as well.

Unless you sync your gallery photos to the Onedrive then they won't show. I use Onedrive and also Google Photo's.
