Samsung Notes App

I want to uninstall the notes app and reinstall it. As I've had issues with it. I don't have a problem doing this. I don't want to lose all my notes. I have it synced to Samsung Cloud. I'm just not sure how I get all the notes back when I reinstall. I spoke to tech support but wasn't convinced. As I don't see the notes app in the backup. Is it because I've synced my notes that this is held somewhere else? And when I reinstall does this just magically reappear in my notes? Any advice on how to do this without losing any notes appreciated. Thanks JD

From my experience, the notes come back once you reinstall and sign into your Samsung Account.

@JD76: Can you confirm if you backed up to Samsung Cloud via the Samsung Notes app > Tap the 3 lines in the top left > Tap the cog in the top right of the pop up window > Sync With Samsung Cloud? 

If so, follow the same steps to return to the Samsung Notes settings and select Import Data From > S Notes > Samsung Account to restore your notes.
