Moisture detected

I lost my Samsung s20 about 2 months a go.

It was found but as it had been raining got wet.....I did the rice trick which seemed to work up until a few days a go...I can't use USB port for headphones/charging and shows moisture detected.

I've googled and says clear usb cache....but no change.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Just put it to dry again the port work work again once moisture is gone.

Use a wireless charging pad, this is what I have to resort to if the message comes up, however no water actually enters the port, so I'm guessing condensation possibly?

Thank-you...ive now got one...bit of a nuisance as cant charge when out with my portable chargers. Oh well

I can think of a way, but a bit fiddley, get a car charger holder that has a wireless charger built into it, but also has the arms to hold the phone in place, and iirc, these chargers have a micro USB socket, so could just wire it up to say, a power bank, and can sort of, charge on the go.....possibly

@alifpb: If you should regularly see a water droplet icon on your S20, and if this prevents you from accessing certain settings or features, or charging your device, then I recommend arranging for the phone to be inspected and repaired. In this instance, head to samsung.com > Scroll to the bottom of the page > Contact us, and get in touch via your preferred contact method for further support.
