Are you using google maps? Position on the map is unknown when someone makes unsolicited edits i.e. claims a business as their own and untags all pictures etc this is known to cause it.
Any chance of a screenshot?

Hey guys. I have this issue too. On my Galaxy S23, my phone just lies on the desk, and I'm not using it. Suddenly after 1h or so, it is telling me in English female voice: "GPS connected". Then it said in Polish male voice (this is my phone locale): "GPS connection lost".
Screen is black entire time.
What the? How to know which app is doing it??????????

Do we need to do this low level workaround each time this issue happens?

Common sense says that cache is not something that you clear only once
But if that was the case for you, then I am happy about it

Same problem (S24 ultra) fine for 9 months but in the last couple of days occasional "GPS connection lost" and soon afterwards "GPS connected".
I thought it might be related to the Location setting, turning that off made no difference but I guess that simply unlinked Google Maps from the GPS. This message must be coming from a deeper level of the system. I've rebooted in the hope it fixes the problem but as it's intermittent I can't be sure. Using an Android app (GPSTest) I'm seeing loads of satellites mostly low signal strength (indoors to get a weaker signal in the hope I'd get the alert). Maybe it worked and easier and less hassle than USB connection to clear cache.

Thanks for message, brother in bother.
I had this silent for months, and it came back about 2 weeks ago, too, lol.
But I can tell for sure that it happened after using Google Maps app + GPS navigation function inside it. The "GPS connection lost" voice appeared after few minutes of closing the app. So, presumably the app was in background or in sleep mode. Or it was changing it's state?
Anyway, it never happens when I don't use Google Maps navigation, and also never during it.
