Gallery recycle bin is set to retain deleted photos for 28 days. How do I restore a deleted photo?

Go to recycle and select option to restore it before 28 days after 28 days you cannot recover hope that help

To add to the advice given you may have also backed up your photo's in One Drive.

My preference is to use Dropbox.

You can upload camera on dropbox by going into dropbox setting but one drive you cannot replace by any other drive
