Hey @Kloz ,

have you tried to update this manually from the phone Settings> Software update> Download updates manually? If so, you can try to use Smart Switch to see if there are any updates available for your phone. To do it you just need to follow these steps:

•Go to Samsung's Smart Switch website (https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/where-can-i-download-samsung-smart-switch-for-pc-o...) and download for PC or Mac.

•Install and open Smart Switch on your computer and connect your phone via its USB cable. If you haven't plugged into your computer before, tap Allow on the pop-up on your phone to give it access. If Smart Switch doesn't recognize the phone, click the menu in Smart Switch and click Reinstall device driver then restart.

•After a few moments, your phone will be recognized by Smart Switch and you'll see several options on the main screen for backing up and restoring. You do not need to back up or restore your phone to initiate an update.

•A software check is performed when you plug in, and Smart Switch will list your current software details. If there is a software update available for your phone, you'll be notified on the main screen.

•If available, Click Update to install the latest software. It will download first to your computer, then sideload to your phone.

@Kloz

Was your phone directly supplied by Samsung  ?

Or was it supplied by a Network ?

Or was it imported from another country into yours ?

That is probably the issue then @Kloz

An imported phone relies on the country of origin releasing the update and actually being recieved by your phone.

From past posts imported phones tend to get updates very slow or in some extreme cases nkt at all.

This thread may help in regards to Smartswitch which you could try.

Don't listen to him, that's his usual mantra about grey market and he doesn't know what he's talking about. It doesn't matter where the device is, you still have to wait for the update to hit the server. Being out of area doesn't stop a device from calling home to the server it is attached to.

Your CSC code is XAA and it's all the way across, which blows whatever he's saying out of the water. Samsung is ridiculous with their updates and if they were any slower, they'd be in reverse.

Get Frija and put in your model and it will tell you if the update is even yet available for your device. If it is still on the same one you have, then Samsung hasn't released it yet. Use that and stop asking in this forum, most of the people have no idea what they're talking about.

I have XSP for my CSC and our June update was just released the last week of June.

Carrier-locked US phones are annoying like that. Just follow @doesitmatter 's advice and flash the latest firmware from Frija. But for the CSC, use USC since they don't allow for XAA direct downloads. Then, flash all the files you'll unzip except USERDATA. Leave that alone. And instead of selecting the file that starts with CSC when you click on the button labelled CSC, flash the one that starts with HOME_CSC. Is it clear for you (because I can understand if my explanation is a bit unclear)?

Yes I found a firmware with that csc . Im not sure but I think your talking about the flashing in Odin right ? If that is I will not flash the file of user data and just select the home_csc.

I do not install anything from Frija, as I stated above I use it to see if the update has even been issued yet for a particular CSC. I still use the software update on the device to get it. Once you see it on Frija, in a few days you will see it come to your device.
