I recieved my S10 today (after a huge faff with wrong delivery times and dates yesterday) and the first thing I've noticed is how zoomed in the front camera is. It's even worse in-app on Snapchat and Instagram or WhatsApp. I can't even take a front camera photo of me and my son as it doesn't capture below my shoulders. I've tried changing loads of setting in the camera app and the phone settings and even the app settings but nothing works. Does anyone have a fix for this? (As a single parent the front camera is my best mate for quick snaps of me and my Son!) I hope Samsung sort this out asap!!!

!! Petition: Zoomed Camera 🔍📷 .. S9 & s10 users, any others? There has been an ongoing issue with the front camera being too zoomed and there is No Option to change it in 3rd party apps. The update in April 2019 changed the camera. There is a thread about this in many places with many complaints. It seems that Samsung refuses to acknowledge this as their problem. Many loyal Samsung users are unhappy with this and have said they may switch to iPhones only because of this zoomed camera issue. We just want Samsung to fix this! Please share with any Samsung user and sign this petition. It's worth a shot https://www.change.org/p/samsung-group-samsung-request-for-fix-on-front-camera-zoom-on-third-party-a...

I have the S20 plus. This is also a problem!
S20 has 5 cameras but the most important front camera doesn't much option.
Meanwhile, if you use the single shot, the zoom is not that much.
Please Samsung help us here! 😞 Our face is just way too big. 1k of phone but not usable as intended.
We would like t use this for group videos as well! Thank you.

This has been going on for me for FOUR YEARS starting with my S7+. 2 years not using that phone and then I bought the S10+ stupidly thinking that issue was fixed and here I am again. If you read the threads it will link you to other threads and you will see this has been going on for over a year with newer Samsung models but a lot of serious Samsung users like me haveahave dealt with this for years. It's not getting fixed at this point and it is what it is. My next phone sadly will not be a Samsung 😞

this issue could be solved by 1 sec if samsung decided to make the wide selfie angle default.
does anyone know if this issue is happening with other android phones?
im using a40 btw.
