Hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but when I was still using my OnePlus brand phone, which came from the manufacturer with a super fast 33W SUPERVOOC Fast Charger, I read the manual that came with the phone and it said that if I were to use the SLOWER charging that the battery could be totally recharged approximately 5000 times, whereas if using the FAST charge setting every time that it would drop down to approximately 4000 times for a complete charge before the battery would need replacing. They were referring to waiting until the battery reached about 5% before recharging and let it reach 100% each time you recharge and unplug it when it reaches 100%. Since I don't know ANYONE that waits until you have only 5% charge remaining before plugging in to a charger, plus it's not always possible to charge all the way to 100% and immediately disconnect from the charger once reaching 100%, those number of possible lifetime charges will probably be totally different than 5000 charges at normal speed or 4000 charges at superfast speed. However, according to the manual that came with my phone, sort of sounds to me that using the fast charge setting will shorten the life of your phone's battery... it's just a matter of how much shorter will the battery's life be!
