Quick share infinite search

After the recent update of Quick Share and Nearby Share, Nearby Share seems to have vanished and Quick Share is not working with non Samsung devices. Not able to share with other Android devices and Windows PCs. not able to recieve any files from another non Samsung devices. Another phones are still share across another android phones, but not with my. When I try to send a file to another android deveice there's "infinite scanning..." nearby devices but get nothing in quick share menu. I tried:

- clear cache of quick share app
- reset network settings
- check function in safe mode

Nothing of it helps. 

My model of a phone is Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G. I have all latest updates

After a long period of getting on really badly with nearby share which was useless for ages, it started working perfectly and I was like great! Now it's changed a quick share which was working absolutely perfectly - and now for no known reason the Bluetooth linked laptop is not even recognised so I'm back to sticking things on a USB stick again!

I also can't figure out how to specify a different folder it still using the nearby share one which is synced to onedrive and I don't want it on a sink to drive but I can't change that either!

Same issue here with a Note 20 Ultra 5G, seems like QA screwed up
