Can't get galaxy S20 note ultra to work

Having trouble getting my Amazon Samsung refurbished S20Note ultra 2 work - other phones recognize -

get message "unlock is not off" 

went 2 boost mobile website & put in the IMEI - not doing anything it is 12 numbers - been trying 2 get it 2 work-

do I need 2 do something with my Galaxy 8+?? Previous phone - no SIM or SD card in it.

You might need to contact Amazon to explain the phone isn't working as it should and ask for a refund  / replacement @cagreco151 

Doing this as early as possible would be beneficial.

You shouldn't have to be troubleshooting a phone so new into owning it.

It should obviously just be a process of insering a valid sim card and starting the set up process.

I assume it's unlocked to all networks to be able to accept your network sim card ? Check the small print if you can.

In the UK we have a paid for service called https://www.checkmend.com/uk/ which can help to determine the status of a phone.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care.  😎
