Just got an A34 and transferred files over. Majority of music is in WMA format which played through Samsung Music.
This has now stopped working, anybody else having this issue. Searching community shows 2021 and 2022 issues of the same type but why would I be able to have played WMA since last month but not today??

Music files which are  supported natively in Samsung Music are mp3, m4a, mp4, 3gp, 3ga, ogg, oga, aac, and flac.   However  others will be supported by 3rd party apps such as VLc and Poweramp.  https://www.samsung.com/us/Music Files Supported Natively  A look at a variety of apps here https://www.androidauthority.com/best-music-player-apps-for-android-   The other alternative is to convert.

Whilst Galaxy  phones supported wma in the past  it is my understanding that devices from 2021 onwards will not play the file in Samsung's app.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

I haven't as yet, only found issue last night. Will try later but shame if it is Samsung Music issue and I will need a third party app to be able to do what I could do last time I tried
