Wifi drops when I put Bluetooth on

I've a Galaxy A51. It was fine until, I think, last year when it started dropping wifi when Bluetooth is on.

I need Bluetooth on as I'm wearing a medical sensor that uses Bluetooth to connect to my phone.

So whenever it's on my WiFi drops.

And I've no signal for data where I am frustratingly.

I've read it's to do with the Bluetooth and WiFi frequencies being so similar.

Surely there's a fix!

Anyone? It's making me want to switch a perfectly decent phone to something else.

Hey there

Bluetooth usually works on 2.4ghz whereas WiFi can work on 2.4ghz and/or 5ghz.

Does your WiFi router allow you to select 5ghz only for your home WiFi? If so, please try this.

FYI 5ghz tends to provide stronger WiFi signal over shorter distance whereas 2.4ghz tends to reach further.

I can ask our technical whizz. It doesn't just happen at home though. It's everywhere. I don't want to disruption everyone at home for my Internet viewing pleasure

We've got a mesh, which in theory spreads the WiFi

A mesh does indeed stretch the WiFi but you can still split between 2.4 & 5ghz.
