My phone did the upgrade yesterday, and now I'm getting, 'can't write to SD card, your sd card isn't working correctly, and has been set to read-only to prevent data loss. Backing up the data on your sd card is recommended.'
How on earth do I do that? I'm not at all tech minded? Any help would be appreciated.

Before anything else first try a soft reboot by turning the phone off and on.

If this does not help then eject the sd card and gently wipe it's contacts and re insert to see if this helps.

If you can try the sd card in another phone and then see what happens to rule out a sd card based issue @ADBen

If the sd card works fine and still does not in your phone then please conduct a forum search and or Google Search that should show further more indepth troubleshooting steps.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care.  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

I used to get SD cards going bad in my old phone. Usually taking the SD card out and putting it into a windows computer which would repair the SD card
