Hi there dear Samsung!

Please, do not mess with our nerves!

I just flew from my good and old Galaxy A72, after waiting for Android 14 OneUI 6.0, which was delayed for three long months, just to arrive on my brand shiny new Galaxy A55, OneUI 6.1, with no Auto brightnes feature.

This is so outrageos! I feel so deceived and disappointed!

So, Samsung, are you serious? Really? Restore that feature back, immediately!

We are paying for all these features and more, no less!

Regards!

@SirVss: If you head to Settings > Display, is 'Adaptive brightness' visible here?

Yes, Settings > Display, Adaptive brightness still in there, but has nothing to do with specific AOD Auto brightness, which is no more since OneUI 6.1.

Samsung knows the issues for sure, it's well knowned, reported and discussed!

@SirVss: Our product specialists have noted that the AOD brightness is now determined by the light levels in the environment, in the same way that Adaptive brightness adjusts the levels of the main display.

Samsung shoulded leave that feature untouched and they should bring that back as soon it's possible, with the new update.

They should leave that choose in our hands, not to choose for us! If I want my AOD to stay steady brightness or to reduce manualy, to have that choice there, like in previous OneUI 6.0!
