@missbee Personally I do not think an Anti virus on Android is strictly necessary if you do not go outside official sources, I am happy with the security protection provided by Knox and McAfee Anti Virus is on Board should you wish to use it. Think it can create problems if you have additional Anti Virus software running with the MCAfee enabled. However opinions vary and you may wish to have a look at this thread.

I have used CCleaner for Android on my Samsung Galaxy Advance phone, and it was doing great. It works perfectly when removing the files and programs running in the background. In addition, it also clears the unwanted cache files. You can easily download it from the Play Store. You can also consider some other programs, such as Norton, AVG, 1Tap Cleaner, SD Maid etc, for your device.
