Battery drain

One ui home is draining my battery is this new after an update? Using extra 50% battery while work nightshift and listen to podcasts and used to come home still over 90% now down in the 40s????

Try clearing the One UI Home cache in Settings > Apps > One UI Home (don't delete data, otherwise you Home screen customizations will be reset to default). Soft reset the phone by pressing and holding the volume down + power key till the phone restarts.

Thanks iv cleared the cash and deleted the data and I found out the hard way about my screen customisations. What will the soft reset do?

Oops... if you have a recent backup, then you can restore Home Screen and Apps (required for restoring Home screen).

Soft reset will restart the phone and clear the RAM.
