A54 Camer HEIC to Jpeg

Galaxy A 54 Model.

How do I set my camera to save in Jpeg please?

For some reason since there was a software update it now saves in the HEIC.

The setting for  HEIC is turned off, but this has made no difference.

I am not able to view the photos when I email them, or try to upload say to Facebook Market place.

I have tried the various solutions on this Samsung, the internet to no avail.

Please could someone help me.

In the camera app settings there is a option to reduce file size, if this is selected and blue, it is saved as HEIC not JPEG. If that still doesn't work, you can reset the camera back to the factory default settings through the camera app.
