Samsung Odyssey G70A switches from Displayport to Displayport HDR and causes game to crash

Hi,

I got the Samsung Odyssey G70A today. I love it, but I have a problem. Whenever I start up a particular game (Assassin's Creed Valhalla), the monitor automatically switches from Displayport to Displayport HDR (I get a pop up on my screen telling me so), and the game crashes. It always happens at the same point in the start up. I've switched off HDR in my Windows settings, but that didn't help. I'm running Windows 11 on an AMD Ryzen 7 5800-Core processor, NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3070 Ti. Drivers are up to date.

Any idea at all what might be causing this, and what I can do to stop the switching and crashing? Is there any way I can turn off the HDR in the monitor settings?

Turn off gsync in nvidia control panel or turn of adaptive sync in the monitor settings. Or change to 120hz in nvidia setting worked for me but I'd rather use 144hz also looking for a solution.
