Samsung Odyssey G5 27inch + Surface Dock 2 issue

I recently got a Samsung Odyssey G5 27inch monitor, and I have one issue. I have a Surface Pro 7 connected to a dock that I was planning on connecting my monitor through. However, it is not working. Here is a list of things I have eliminated as not to be the problem.

  • Monitor display port.

    • I was able to use the DisplayPort with another laptop (T460s) that has a display port and it worked.

  • Display cable.

    • The cable was able to connect to another laptop (T460s)

  • Surface Dock Display Port

    • I was able to beforehand use a different monitor with the same Surface Pro 7 and had no issues.

  • Surface Pro 7

    • This is also not working with a Surface Laptop 3 with the dock.

  • Samsung Odyssey G5 27 inch

    • It works with display port on the T460s

    • It works with HDMI cable and HDMI to USB-C adapter on the Surface Pro 7

Any help?
