I bought a oddesy g3 and used a HDMI cable at first which was capped at 120hz which I thought was just because of the cable but when I got a DisplayPort my monitor was still capped at 120hz and when I go to windows settings>advanced display settings there is no option to go above 120hz.

What kind of pc wouldn't be able to support it? I have a fairly new gaming laptop which has an internal 144hz monitor so it should at least show me the option for 144hz

Pretty sure it does I just checked the amazon listing and it supports 1080p at 165hz so I don't think the issue is the cable
