Samsung Magician can not update to 8.0.1 due to a vulnerability was detected

I'm trying to update the Samsung Magician 8.0 to 8.0.1 on my PC which has 2x Samsung SSD 870 EVO 1TB harddisks. (Win10 Home Ed.)

It shows an error as in the image.

I've tried to update using the apps and download the software on the website, but both were unsuccessful.

@ckastley  one of the things that worked for a few in the past was creating an empty Folder on the Desktop  , extracting  the zip file into there rather than just desktop or moving the extracted contents.  Advisable to Run the installer with administrator privileges and see if that solves the issue.
