The interface from Final Fantasy XIV is starting to remain on the screen very noticeably when doing other things.

I assumed burn in wasn't even possible on a monitor like this, so does anyone know what could be causing it?

And does my warranty cover this?

It's possible to get burn-in as you have now found. I have read several negative reviews of the monitor also complaining of dead and stuck pixels, bad backlight as well. It seems Samsung cannot make monitors or TV sets properly any more from what I have read on here too.
