Getting a new device is always an exciting moment. Whether it’s an amazing Galaxy S23 Ultra or a stunning Galaxy Watch5, there’s no feeling quite like opening up the box and discovering all the features of your new purchase.

While we don’t like to be pessimistic here at the Community, sometimes it’s a good idea to be prepared. Accidents happen, and when they happen to one of your devices, it can really ruin your week. This is where Samsung Care+ comes in.

Samsung Care+ is an extra care coverage package for Samsung Galaxy smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, and Galaxy Books. It goes beyond the standard warranty to give you extra protection. There are two types of Care+ package: Care+ Accidental Damage; and Care+ Accidental Damage and Theft.

Both Care+ packages cover your device for up to 36 months and include coverage against accidents. This can include things like dropping your phone (we know, it happens to the best of us) or spilling liquids on it.

You can purchase a Care+ package at several points, including online at Samsung.com when you purchase a product; and at the Samsung Experience Store.
