I got a question regarding the passthrough/extend function.
I use a QE65Q90R that is linked via E-arc to my Yamaha rx-A3080 and my computer that is on the HDMI 4 of the TV to be able to use 4k120HZ ( rx4090). (and use powed dvd)
The extend/passthrough is activated and if i play a file with TDS/DD i got no issue and it sshows DTS/DD on my receiver.
But if i play a file with dtshd-ma or D true sound....it switch to pcm or if i force power dvd to just send dts/dd and not in non decoded format it will be in dts/dd instead if dts-hd-ma.
If i put the hdmi from my pc to the received i got no issue sending those format to it and it correctly shows this on the receiver( and you ear it!!!)
Anyone got a solution so that this TV does not try to change the sound format via E-arc ?
