Hi All.
I've got my cinema system connected directly from my Sky Q box by Optical Cable but I don't seem to be getting any sound from my surround speakers.
everything is connected correctly (speaker test), I have audio from Front R/L/C & Sub.
Sky Q to Tv (Samsung Series 7) - HDMI
Sky Q to Samsung Cimema System - Optical Cable.
has anyone got any ideas what settings I should have on all devices...???

That should solve it. When you select Dolby Digital it converts the signal to what the TV itself support. But with bitstream it sends the signal as unmodified as possible to the reciever
