Hi folks;
On my HWQ90R sound system, the display says "Dolby Atmos" but the sound coming from overhead is not very evident. Objects that pass overhead don't really sound as if they are overhead.
Is that normal for this sound system, or is there something I can do to improve it?
I have the top speakers at both front and back at maximum volume. I've been using my Blu-Ray player with the HDMI plugged directly into HDMI1 of the soundbar. I've been watching 4k UHD Blu-Ray movies that have been reviewed as having lots of overhead sound, e.g. Bladerunner and Matrix Revolutions.
Could it be how I have the speakers arranged? Could it be that, at my age (70) my spatial processing of sound is not very good? (I'm not hard of hearing, as such).
